Company History

1988:	Jevons Connector Products Inc. Founded May 1988 as Exclusive North American Stocking Distributiors for CDM AG Cham – Switzerland. Introduced innovative impact extruded V.35 backshells, connectors and patented crimp contacts rapidly regarded as the best product for wide band modems and internet applications.

1989:	Concentration and specialization in Telecom market becoming dominant supplier of V.35 Connectors, Contacts & EMI/RFI Backshells.

1991:	Designed & manufacture V.35 ABS Plastic & Metalized ABS backshells.

1992:	Invent a unique solution for Cisco resulting in a custom EMI/RFI V.35 backshell kit, establishing strong distribution ties en route to becoming sole source supplier to Cisco for this product.

1993:	Design proprietary high performance pcb connector employing screw machined contacts with gold plated berillium copper mating spring.

1996:	To accelerate growth Jevons acquires Data Covers & the assets of CPA Marketing Group - Chicago resulting in a full line extension of D-subminiature EMI/RFI backshells.

1997:	Jevons & Innovative Shielding Technology Corporation amalgamate resulting in dramatic sales growth improved competitive capability.

1998:	Design and release JDC 200 & 160 LFH backshell series, SSC Smart Serial backshell & connectors, expanded D-sub line including shield cans, moulded boots & customer specific solutions.

2007:	Product line and customer contacts of CDM in Europe are sold to CDM Jevons.

2010:	Today CDM Jevons have customers across the globe served from our head office in Canada. CDM Jevons focus intently on maintaining a responsive, competitive, flexible and quality oriented company with an ever-increasing clientele to attest to the execution of such basic principals.
