Our Client sought to reduce weight of a V.35 diecast back shell, accommodate a wide cable range, enhance ease of assembly and maintain maximum attenuation.

Our Solution

A hermaphroditic metalized plastic back shell with one piece machined jack screws and Ni plated inserts

Effective weight reduction vs Die Cast Zinc
Optimize EMI/RFI attenuation.
Lower applied cost.
Plated inserts of various sizes reduced inventory needed to accommodate a wide cable range.
